Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-16
This policy explains what Nifu Games ("we", "us") collects when you play Curbside Jam ("the app"), why, and what choices you have. We keep it short and specific to what the app actually does.
Who is responsible
Nifu Games is the controller of your data. Contact: info@nifugames.com.
What we collect
- Player identifier. When you open the app we create an anonymous account (a random ID from Firebase Authentication). If you choose to sign in with Apple, your account is linked to an identifier Apple provides for our app.
- Profile. A nickname, country, avatar and frame. Nicknames are checked automatically and can be reported by other players.
- Game data. Your level, scores, rankings and weekly race results, and an optional cloud backup of your progress.
- Purchases. Apple processes your payment; we never see your card details. We receive a record of what you bought (product, price, time) through RevenueCat so we can restore purchases and handle refunds.
- Device and technical data. App version, language, time zone offset, a push notification token (only if you allow notifications) and crash and performance reports.
- Analytics. Gameplay events such as levels started and completed, collected with Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics, linked to your anonymous ID and not to your name.
- Advertising. The app shows ads through Google AdMob. With your permission (the iOS tracking prompt, and in the EEA/UK our consent message) ads can be personalised using your device's advertising identifier. Without permission you still see ads, but they are not personalised.
Why we use it
- To run the game: save your progress, show leaderboards and weekly races, deliver events and rewards.
- To provide purchases and restore them, and to prevent fraud and cheating.
- To understand and improve the game (analytics and crash reports).
- To show ads that keep the game free.
- To keep the community safe (name filtering, reports, hiding abusive profiles).
Who receives it
We use these service providers, who process data on our behalf or under their own policies: Google (Firebase and AdMob), RevenueCat, and Apple. Our servers run on Google Cloud in the European Union. We do not sell your personal data.
Your choices and rights
- Delete your account. In Settings you can delete your account. We then delete your profile, progress, cloud backup, rankings and consent records. Purchase records are kept only in a form that no longer identifies you, for financial record keeping.
- Access and export. You can request a copy of your data in the app or by e-mail.
- Advertising and tracking. You can change the tracking permission in iOS Settings, and notifications in iOS Settings or in the app.
- If you are in the EEA, UK or similar regions you also have the rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to complain to your data protection authority.
How long we keep data
We keep your data while your account exists. Weekly race and ranking data older than the current season may be removed. Backups are kept for up to 30 days.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way we will update the date below and, where required, ask you to accept the new version in the app.
